The Friends of ERA is a 420-member strong association bringing together legal professionals committed to the good application of European law. For 33 years, the Friends of ERA have provided a space for the European legal community to not only share a common interest in EU law, but also to support the Academy’s work with impactful events, expertise and contributions to selected training activities.

Scholarships

Scholarship programme

With the support of the Friends of ERA Association, ERA has been running a scholarship programme for over 20 years, enabling legal practitioners from EU Member States, candidate countries, and potential candidates to access high-quality training in European law. Funded entirely by private donations, these scholarships ensure that legal practitioners who might otherwise be unable to afford participation have the opportunity to attend ERA’s programmes and enhance their professional expertise.
