ERA Forum is a specialised legal journal showcasing key topics from ERA’s programme, with contributions by prominent authors from the judiciary, private practice, public administration, and academia. The publication plays a key role in connecting EU-level law with practitioners throughout Europe and beyond.

In 2025, ERA Forum published 54 articles across six issues and registered a record 231.198 downloads, demonstrating its growing influence and reach. Topics covered a broad spectrum of contemporary European legal issues, including artificial intelligence and digital transformation, judicial independence, human rights, environmental and energy law, financial regulation, corporate governance, cross-border civil and criminal matters, migration and asylum, competition law, and innovations in public procurement.

In December, the Annual ERA Forum Meeting convened the Advisory Board, Editorial Board, and Springer Publishing House to review the journal’s reach, content development, and engagement with its readership. Special recognition goes to the Advisory Board members for their strategic input and continued support.

ERA Forum continues to gain recognition in the legal professional community. In December 2025, the journal ranked 7th among European law journals on Google Scholar, with an h5-index of 21, reflecting its significant impact on European legal discourse.

The collection of ERA Forum articles continues to expand online, many freely accessible under an open access licence on the SpringerLink platform Home | ERA Forum | Springer Nature Link, ensuring wide availability to practitioners and scholars. As part of ERA’s objective to increase accessibility of the complete ERA training portfolio, ERA Forum articles can now also be accessed in the new Publications section of the ERA website, classified by area of law.
