In addition to our own educational training activities which are held on ERA’s premises, external events are also regularly hosted here. This taxable activity is marketed under the name ERA Conference Centre (ECC). The events are, for example, trade fairs, congresses, conferences and seminars or receptions. ERA has a special relationship with the neighbouring hotel Vienna House Easy by Wyndham Trier enabling the hotel to also implement events for their clients at the ECC.
Event highlights in the ERA Conference Centre
We were very pleased to facilitate the Regional Selection Conference of the European Youth Parliament in early 2025, bringing together over 150 young people from across Europe. The theme of the event was ‘History as the Foundation of European Cooperation’ and explored topics such as the significance of European collaboration in border regions, the European single market, and the international perspective of Europe as an economic power, including a panel discussion with Katarina Barley, Vice-President of the European Parliament, and Jutta Paulus, member of the European Parliament. The Europe-wide network of the EYP connects around 40,000 young people each year in a unique way and fosters international exchange on European political issues.
We were delighted to see an increase in events focusing on medical or health-related topics. Our facilities are particularly well suited to these types of conferences. We are also very grateful to our regular customers from a variety of sectors who have chosen the ECC as the venue for their conferences and meetings for many years.

ERA was delighted to receive confirmation in November 2025 that its EMAS certification had been successfully renewed. It was emphasised that we had increased our communication about EMAS, as well as various sustainable measures. In addition, our new environmental statement for 2025 was reviewed and published. This statement will form the basis for further improvements to the environmental sustainability of all our activities.
